"IN CONTACT" airs every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM (EDT) on  Atlanta's PBS station PBA 30.

AABJ made history in November of 1998 when it debut its own television show. The 30-minute news and public affairs program delivers an African-American perspective on current events and has covered wide-ranging issues that appeal to the viewers across town, as well as across the globe.

Through various international collaborations, IN CONTACT has traveled around the globe to bring viewers culturally relevant shows on South Africa, Jamaica, Barbados, the islands of Turks and Caicos, and Kenya.

N CONTACT'S program called "Kenya A Journey Home" drew such response that it was rebroadcast on PBA's Prime access in November 2001 in conjunction with the PBS series "Africa".

By delivering an African-American perspective and encouraging dialogue on timely topics, "IN CONTACT" is unique among Atlanta television programming.

"IN CONTACT" is hosted by veteran journalist and AABJ member, Angela Robinson.

REACH:
· By airing on PBA30, "IN CONTACT" has the potential to reach over 1.5 million people in 500,000 homes throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.
· The show reaches, on average, 5,000 households each Sunday.
· The show has received two Southern Region Emmy Awards (of its three nominations) from the National .

QUALITY JOURNALISM:

"IN CONTACT" is professionally produced out of the studios of WSB-TV Channel 2, Atlanta's ABC affiliate, which ensures the program is of the highest broadcast quality. The program also serves as a training ground for professional-level members of AABJ who are interested in maintaining or starting a career in broadcast journalism.
Additionally, one of the shows main objectives is to serve student members of AABJ by providing them with internships and the opportunity to work on a regular basis with the show.
